Road to IELTS Writing Practice Task 1

The internet has allowed me to look for myriads of resources to study the IELTS test. One site I found useful was "roadtoielts" where you can get a free trial of the course. As I have mentioned in my previous blog, I'm currently more focused on the Writing test since it's the part where I lack experience from. In this blog, I will post my sample essay of one of the practice tests I took in the above mentioned webpage. This bar graph illustrates the involvement of Australian boys and girls aged 5 to 14 in some recreational activities. Overall, it can be said that more boys participate in leisure activities than girls. It is safe to say that watching TV/videos is the most popular activity for each group. Almost all Australian boys and girls equally enjoy watching TV/video on their free time. Approximately more than 10% of boys engage in three out of four remaining activities. Recently, I've been very busy studying for the IELTS test. It's for my job so I don't really have a choice. Anyway, somehow, I'm enjoying the experience. It's good to be a student again. By the way, as part of my practice, I have decided to try my hands on the IELTS writing practice tests from Cambridge. I know no one will actually read my essays so I don't really have any issues about this. And besides, I can save my essays here to save disk space on my PC. Genius!
